COME MEET OUR EXTREMELY SPOILED STINKIES

Whenever my girlfriends or our niece come over, they always run straight to the stinkies. Why? Because they're so irresistible, duh. I mean, seriously... how could anyone resist these adorable faces just looking up at you? I know I can't. They have me weak every morning I wake up to go see them... those beady little eyes and their squishy pink noses. Don't even get me started on the HAIRI'm not even remotely joking when I say this, but they seem to have better locks than most people do. There... I said it!

Anyways, I wanted to capture some of their cutest moments right when their cages are nice and clean, and there's fresh timothy hay & all-natural pellets for them to nibble on. That's when they're the happiest, which also makes me the happiest.  I'm going to be straight forward when I say this: one of our guinea girls is getting old and I really wanted to write a blog post that we would never forget. About both of the girls being together before she passes away. I hate even thinking about because I just want to cry every time I do, but that's part of life - nothing lasts forever and we enjoy cherishing them everyday.  So, if you take pleasure looking at pictures of cute animals, well boy do I have some for you. There's also a surprise pet inside, so if you want to see who it is then keep on reading!

SURPRISE! You see this happy rabbit right here? Well, he wasn't always this full of joy before my husband & I adopted him. His previous living condition was so bad to where he couldn't run around and he had to sleep in his own feces. Yeah... pretty bad. Now? I guess you could say Savage is livin' it up over here. Him and his stuffed animal girlfriend have been in a strong relationship. he has a large back patio he can do 'binkies' in, and tree pots to dig and bury holes with. He also has an obsession for medjool dates and bananas.... and again, his girlfriend. Oh, did I forget to mention he gets all of the snackies he wants? That too.

Dessi's favorite things consist of butt scratches, stealing Vivians food from her mouth and running away with it, being in charge of everything, and of course she can never get enough of her cucumber and apples. Dessi also gets upset when you cut her hair too short. I learned my lesson with that when we first adopted her. Her luscious hair (especially the mohawk) controls up to 99.9% of her personality.

Vivian's favorite things.... where should I start? Well, let me start with the fact that she's sooo overly dramatic when I give her bum rubs. She also makes sure to let you know when she wants to eat everything in the fridge, and I wouldn't be surprised if she could live off of just lettuce.  Fun fact: when my husband and I adopted Vivian, the caretakers didn't know she was pregnant, so we brought home a pregnant guinea pig and less than a month later she had a litter. *And now everybody says "Awwwww" ♡

The personalities of these three incredible creatures have always seem to humor me and it never gets old. Whenever I need a boost of positive energy, all I have to do is walk over to them and they seem to cheer me right up without having to do anything. That's one thing I love about how animals were created: unable to talk and have a mindset unlike humans - because if so, they would know how to judge.

If your wanting pets of your own, please always consider adopting. There's thousands of animals that need a special home and someone like you to take care of them. It's also more rewarding when you rescue... it's a feeling you'll never forget.

  3. LOOK AT THOSE LITTLE FACES! They're melting my icy heart haha. I don't think that I could ever have stinkies as pets personally, I will admit that I run straight to their cage if my friends/family have them haha. They're just so loveable! Greta photography here too, girl. :) x

  4. I like the guinea pigs! I used to have one as a child. They are a pretty good pet for children and a family. Easy to take care of and a friendly disposition. We have bunny as well. He is all white and we have had him for years.

    1. I would have to say our bunny is a lot more difficult to take care of then our guinea girls... especially because he's a male. But I wouldn't change it for the world! No regrets ✊

  7. I adopted my first dog from the pound and she was a blessing to have around. She went from skin and bones to a healthy and spoiled dog. Rabbits and guinea pigs are great to hang out with if a friend owns them but I wouldn’t want the hassle of cleaning their cages 2-3 times a week.

  8. Hahahaha I love Savage! He’s too cute! We’ve had bunnies before when my kids were younger and now we have a cat that we adopted and 2 dogs...a Bassett Hound and a toy poodle who’s up in years and we fear she won’t last the year but we baby her as much as possible and know we’re all gonna be squishy puddles when her time comes 😭
